Re: JGB on You-Tube |
Those are posted directly from fan made stealth vids and jerry auds mostly FOB. Many tapers supported their touring by selling these illegally in the lot or in the classifieds of Dupree's Diamond News etc...always as trade til you contacted them and they told you about the equipment cost, ware and tear on the VCR heads etc....
Most have been converted to DVD and are out there.
You would be amazed at how many shows from 1985 were recorded on those huge early cameras.
They are traded between some of the more dedicated collectors but really aren't that hard to find.
There are also plenty of other places to D/L JGB AUDs w/o problem.
Please don't post links to these places on this forum - I've seen it done several times- DON'T.
If that fascist Koon's thinks she can milk anything for Jerry's $$$ they could get shut down.

Re: JGB on You-Tube |
Read it again. He's asking about pre-95 JGB.
This is my understanding of the situation:
Jerry's family fought over control of the JGB tapes for years. Some of them have now been released as the Pure Jerry series and "Ragged but Right." Ownership is divided among his daughters, who own the controlling interest, and Deborah Koons, Jerry's wife when he died, who controls about 1/3 of the JGB legacy.
In my opinion, it's very unlikely that any of that stuff will show up here.
